Please remember my mother Genevieve, who died this past Feb 13, on Ash Wednesday. She had tongue cancer and suffered greatly (especially psychologically) the past few months after she was diagnosed in August, 2012. She was our guide in life in many ways. Now she is gone, so what remains of her family feels very alone. We had a picture of Our Blessed Mother that was with her in each of the places that she stayed--either hospital or nursing facility. She always told people that she trusted in the Mother of God for everything. My prayer is that she will not have to spend much time in Purgatory due to already suffering on earth.
