Lord, Creator of all things

I was thinking generally of what she had said and felt sure I could find one from her works were she describes her hated of the idea of self -- but that is exactly the quote that sums it up!

Prayer for the Closing of the Year of Faith

We thank You Lord, for having given us this Year of Faith.
We thank You for the gift of Faith, for those who woke it up in us,
and for those who keep helping us to renew it.
As we received the white garment in baptism, sign of our new Christian dignity,
help us with our families and friends, to keep our dignity unstained into the everlasting life of heaven.
In front of You and with Your Grace we assume the commitment of becoming
better witnesses of your love and mercy to all.
We ask this through Christ Our Lord and through Our Lady Consolata.
