Some security has been re-enabled for images, so the site statistics continue to work correctly.

A problem with this "hotlink protection" is what caused the smilies to disappear for some Apple browser users.

This time perhaps, with a few tweaks, it will not be an issue.

If this problem resurfaces, something different will be tried to keep the statistics programs and hotlinking protection working a-OK.

The Apple users will get their smilies back if there's a problem, so just please report it if there are any problems with the smilies disappearing. Please do not be concerned.
