The memory of Veronica's act of charity is commemorated in the Stations of the Cross.
St. Veronica is the kind woman who wipes the face of the Lord Jesus while he was on the way to Calvary.
According to tradition, the cloth was imprinted with the image of Christ's face.
Station Six of The Stations of the Cross is Veronica wipes the face of Jesus.
Veronica wiped the dust and blood off Christ's face.

Saint Veronica was outstanding when she showed compassion to Jesus on Good Friday.
What do you think about showing kindness spontaneously?

The name "Veronica" comes from the Latin Vera Icone.
Vera Icone translated to English is true image of Jesus Christ.

Saint Veronica was mentioned in the reported visions of Jesus by Sister Marie of
St. Peter, a Carmelite nun who resided in Tours, France.
Sister Marie started the devotion to the Holy Face of Jesus.

Saint Veronica's symbol is the veil bearing the face of Christ and the Crown of Thorns.

In the 13th century text and also in some later sources the term Veronica was used for the veil, not the woman.

From the Pray to St. Veronica: Pray to us for Our Lord that His Holy Face may be imprinted on our hearts so that we may
be mindful of the Passion and Death of Our Lord Jesus Christ, through the same Christ our Lord.

St. Veronica, intercede that we may compassionate our Saviour like you did.  Amen.

The cloth Veronica offered Christ is believed to be in the Vatican.
The cloth is a relic of the Roman Catholic Church.

St. Veronica went to Rome. She brought the cloth on which Christ left the imprint of his face.
The cloth was long exposed to public veneration.

Some stories have alluded to Saint Veronica being present at the beheading of Saint John the Baptist.

According to legend, Veronica bore the veil imprinted with the image of Christ's face
away from the Holy Land. She used it to cure Emperor Tiberius of some illness.
