Often when I read the Hours and get lost in the directions, I go to the Universalis website (especially for the morning prayer- Lauds) to double check that I'm following the directions successfully.  More often than not, it serves to get me back on track.  This morning, for the first time, I listened to the founder's brief podcast about his purpose (to help us follow directions) and giving a summary of readings next week which seemed extremely motivating (I hope).  I wondered if Shin had expressed concern about these translations in this thread, or if he has similar concerns with this site.
References to Breviary, Hours, and Office frequently seem used inconsistently in many references, and I'm getting tempted to try to comment further unless someone else will.  My 1976 Catholic Book Publishing Liturgy of the Hours (title on front cover) has The Divine Office on the top of the first page yet repeats LOH right below.

My friend I have not visited the Universalis site in some time, so I don't know its current state. If you have some concerns about inconsistencies have you tried contacting the site? I would be interested in hearing what you have discovered as well of course.

I did not intend any criticism of Universalis website, in fact I often find it extremely helpful when I have difficulty following the instructions in my 1976 Liturgy, which primarily uses the NAB Biblical translation.  Usually, I strongly prefer to read a book in my hand, but I'm edging more frequently to the laptop and Universalis because of the convenience.
