May I no longer live save by Thee and for Thee. Be then my life, my love, my all.

I offer, dedicate and consecrate wholly and inviolate to the Sacred Heart of adorable Jesus all the merit to be acquired or given during life and after death that the will of the Divine Heart dispose of them as He will.

From early childhood, Margaret was described as showing intense love for the Blessed Sacrament,
and as preferring silence and prayer to childhood play.

When her family was suffering poverty, Margaret's only consolation was frequent visits to pray before the Blessed Sacrament in the local church.

Margaret was admitted to wearing the religious habit on August 25, 1671.
However, she was not allowed to make her religious profession on the same date of the following year.

Margaret Mary became Novice Mistress. She saw the monastery observe the Feast of the Sacred Heart privately, beginning in 1686.
