Dear Friends,

I have a trip from this coming Saturday till the end of next weekend, the 28th, I will be away in NY  littlewings, visiting relatives, and selling off the contents of my old house in a big garage sale.

No Internet up there at the old place so I'll be fairly scarce, though I will check in.

While I'm gone, hold the fort, have fun, and enjoy the summer.   cherubim happywave

You have my love and prayers.

Sincerely,

Shin

Yes, that is often surprisingly the case!  Grin

The house may well sell soon after too, a neighbor is interested in it. Poor fellow suffered a tragedy in the family recently. God help him!

I'll miss you folks. Take good care of each other!

Good afternoon everyone!

Hope all is going well on the forum!

I am in the middle of my trip, having just gotten back from the garbage dump, getting rid of bags of trash -- for me that's old computer parts, electronics, gallons of books, papers, knick knacks, etc.

It's going well! The little old place is looking the emptier! I can see all the cleaning I have to do!

Garage sale is Fri/Sat. My aunt and uncle are helping.

But my aunt put the ad in the paper for me and put the hours 8-? instead of setting them, left too much in her hands! It's the neverending sale! She's been a great help otherwise though! Couldn'tve done the half of it without her!

Today is my father's birthday. I'll give him a call tonight, I pray he has a great one! Say a prayer for my pop if you get a chance!

And tonight I get to see my favorite old priest around here for confession and catching up.

It's a good if tough trip!

On these library computers I've found compatibility bugs with the Saints' Books website I have to fix that don't show up on my main system, so the trip is helpful in surprising ways! Also had a little time to catch up on gathering quotations and concordances for Saints' Quotes.

How are you all managing? I pray well! I offered up Sunday mass for you all!

Hold the fort folks! Be happy! Praise be to God!

Said three Hail Marys for your father.  And I see you have some perks to your trip. Hope to see you back soon.  happywave

Thanks for holding the fort Brigid!

Things are looking great!

I'll be back at my place on Monday and hope to be up to speed Tuesday!

Whew! This garage sale business keeps a fellow at work!

Things are selling, the big stuff thankfully! Tons of knick knacks left so far tho!

C'est la vie!

It's hard to become knick knack free!  Cheesy

See you later folks! I'll offer up the mass for you all this vigil! Be happy! God keep you!  harp flower littlewings

Good morning everyone! I have returned!

Finally I am back, and can get back to work down here, my house selling preparation garage sale finished!

It was quite a bit of work.. and I still have stuff to sell, or give away. I will have to make another trip up to take care of what I couldn't deal with this time in about a month. Overall it was a success! But still more to do.

I am this morning quickly trying to fix some website bugs I discovered while away, that older computers can have accessing the site. A repeated request to install language packs, and some characters not displaying correctly are the primary problems! And as I speak these are being fixed.

I have a Verizon tech man due to show up soon, as there've been repeated Internet problems for me, just like you, and I am using this Monday to try to get them taken care of.

I was thinking of you all so often during this trip, and I have so much to tell you! But first, I must get back to work!

I pray your computers all work, your family's are in the peace of the Lord, and thanks for all your prayers!  cherubim flower cherubim
